This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. My sister and I dined in for hot pot and the food was frozen. Unknowingly, thereβs a 18 percent service charge and donβt expect to know that in any written or verbal way. The price of the service charge is more than a typical tip. Expect to spend $80 WITHOUT a tip just for two people. All we got was hot pot and two drinks. Am I meant to be paying for the service I get from someone whose job title is βServerβ? Thatβs what a damn tip is for. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be going back, especially when you can spend $65 WITH a tip at Homey Hot Pot. The food is better there and itβs also a lot cleaner. I would not suggest going here.

Food is good. Selection is a little lacking compared to other hot pot places I've been. The sauce bar is not lacking, though, and it kind of makes up for the okay selection. Service takes a while. They dont have very many people actually working, so its understandable if its a little slow. The restaurant, including the sauce bar, was very clean.

The food (frozen) and service were just so terrible. We couldn't get our food and drinks in until 10 minutes after being seated and another 10 minutes until our food arrived. Very weird for hotpot and only 2 other groups in the restaurant. At the door to be seated, as well as in our booth, we waited a long time for someone to pay us any mind. Paid 81 dollars for frozen food. I think that's what pains me the most is we went out for frozen food and the cost was just wrong for the bad food. Go to Homey hotpot instead, if you can. Actually fresh food and cheaper. Tastes better too. Lightning fast service there as well.

It was hard to stomach paying EVEN A PENNY at the end of our meal. We came in as a party of 5, and it was a disaster from start to finish. There were only three parties in the entire restaurant, ours included, yet staff completely ignored us for 30 minutes. We were starving, but were never checked on or approached by staff. It was difficult to make eye contact with employees as they avoided our table. After never receiving items our table ordered, I eventually had to walk up to the counter, where our server had been idly standing, to ask where our food was. We were just stirring empty pots of soup. Outside of service issues, portions are laughably small, to the point that one person could easily finish multiple plates immediately. For example, we first ordered some sausages. When they were brought out, the plate only had three. Again we were a party of five. So the next time we ordered sausages, we asked specifically for double the previous amount. We were then brought four. Great. To make matters worse, even though we were clearly still hungry and they don't close until 10 PM(time on the door of the building; I know google says 9) they just dropped the check and they didnβt tak

I was honestly quite disappointed with this restaurant. The plates they use for serving food are extremely small, and the portions coming from the kitchen are very limited each time. Even after finishing our meal, we still did not feel completely full, which was frustrating considering the price. The overall presentation gives the impression that the quantity of food is intentionally reduced. The quality and amount of the ingredients served were not satisfying and left a poor impression. That said, the older waitress who served us was very friendly and polite, and her attitude was appreciated. Unfortunately, good service alone cannot make up for the small portions and underwhelming food experience. I hope the restaurant can reconsider its portion sizes and improve the overall value for customers.
